  1. Thank you Chris. It was quite some time ago that you mentioned you had an interview in the works with Michael and I have looked forward to it for a long time. As in the interview with Troy, it was worth the wait. I appreciate you giving these men the time to tell their stories and give us fans a true insight into the background of an up and coming band and a more in depth view of what goes on behind the scenes. I am sure they appreciate the dedication you take in giving them the time to tell their stories. Kudos x 2.

  2. I finally got the chance to sit down and listen to this. Thanks for this interview Chris & Michael. It’s very down to Earth and from the heart. I especially enjoyed the comments on the Fan Feier event. I was THRILLED to be invited to that event and wish I would have known what the aftermath of it was going to be beforehand. I would have never attended. I’m no longer a member of the general’s peaceful army. Too much infighting and self serving going on there now for me. Only a handful stick to what the message of what the band is. I like the smaller GVF groups, especially the European groups.

    1. Enjoyed the interview. Was wondering if it’s the new unreleased album Michael referred to that he wasn’t too impressed with by the out takes Josh allowed him to hear. I got the impression it was the Anthem of the Peaceful Army album since Michael is no longer involved with the band.

  4. Finally got to listen to the whole thing. Thank you Chris and Michael. Learned a lot, but not sure what the Fan Feier event was/is. Thanks again.

  5. Thank you so much Chris and Michael for such a terrific interview. Michael, your heart was so much a part of the band’s beginnings. Thank you so much. Lots of hard work there. Wow, you learn something new every day, terrific musicians, intelligent, and the Kiszkas can cook! Talk about the whole package. I really enjoyed this.

  6. It sure is quiet on the gvf front. Is there anything new? Anything? Trying to paciently wait. But the waiting is the hardest part! I hope the band is taking care of themselves, mentally and physically. I know touring is exciting , but it is also hard on the mind body and soul. Please take care of yourself and each other. The world is as crazy as it is exciting. I hope you can come home soon. PLEASE I know it is challenging with a different producer and all , but don’t release anything untill you are completely satisfied. I trust your musical judgement and choice. I will be patiently waiting as long as it takes. I will spread the gvf word of music as often as I can. Thank you

    1. Joni, I feel your pain.. we are all anxiously awaiting for new information AND new music! We are committed to getting all GVF news out on this site in a timely fashion. Keep checking in.

      1. Thank you. I’m in texas, the GVF show was wonderfully impresive. I wake up with their music in my head. One thing I am frustrated with is I don’t hear them on the radio. Occasionally on sirius radio spectrum. But not local radio. When I do hear them it is ” your the one” How can we get more radio airplay. I know times are different with how alot of us get our music, but the general public still listen to radio. I have created a pandora station and it is ok. Mostly I just put in ‘From the Fires AND Anthem of the peaceful army” as I cannot listen to one without the other. Keeping the fires burning for you. PEACE!

  7. I’ve known the band from the beginning they played the local park in Freeland and I’ve seen him seven times since I would chat to them on Facebook just to keep it raw keep it real and don’t change sometimes I would reply back to them with lyrics from led Zeppelin just a great bunch of young lads!

    1. Rick , I love hearing the stories from the people who have been with them from the beginning! Can’t wait to hear their new music and see them live again.
